Because I'm really sick of seeing them on the front page. It's really bad to see a majority of the community not knowing the rules of dA even though they were supposed to read them as they signed up. It's embarrassing to be honest.

And to know that there are that many people who can't tell the difference between a real artist and theft. Being a certain age does not give you an excuse, I don't care if you're young, learn how to tell if something is art theft.

Some demotivators out there are ok, you know, the ones where artists actually USE THEIR OWN ART??! WHOA, DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS SUCH A THING?? Yes, I have seen a few where people use their own work to make jokes out of. Here's one now!

The ones where people just find mediocre or just unfunny images and add text, those are what should not be here.

So please people, before you blatantly fav something without thinking or looking, do a little searching, look through their gallery, look through the comments, ask questions. DO NOT SUPPORT ART THEFT!

Oh and I made my own Demotes with my own art and wit, but they got mass-reported anyway by one member on a report blitz. I took them down anyway. No real regrets. (they were original and funny, but I know they really don't belong on an ART site.

)

Yeah, pretty much. I stopped faving them 'cause it was encouraging the image theft. Most are forced humor and not funny anyway. (a waste of time to fave something that would possibly get deleted or taken down by dA anyway.
