This was in my sketch dump but I had her face scratched out on it. Still don't like her face but oh well. Anyway, here it is, I finished it some time ago. Don't know if I want to scrap it since it's not really shaded or anything.
So here ya go, more stuff to put up, I'll post a lineart up too.
Saw the links on your tumblr, and I have to admit- I like this picture more than the other one. plz don't hate me ahah I think the lines and posing are gorgeous and I adore her face. ;__; Also I'm so super jealous this only took you 15 minutes to draw. I could easily spend hours on something of this nature.
It used to piss me off when the stuff I worked for hours upon hours on got not even half the attention of my quick crap- but in the end, it's still love. Sometimes the stuff you churn out quicker winds up having that certain charm that well-thought out pieces lack. Spontaneousness and all that jazz. Anywho- just be glad that even your quick pics are well-loved. Not many artists get to enjoy that feeling.
To be honest, I do feel selfish for complaining about it. But at the same time, I feel like no matter how hard I try, anything new or better isn't as accepted as something like this.
I don't feel like I put my heart into this picture like my other one, so I do feel discouraged. But I should feel good that things like this are even liked at all, I do get you there! But I should let things like that hold me back and try my best to improve no matter how much attention I get. I hope that made sense skhfsahf Thank you for the comment~
This is the most faved thing in my gallery (that's not a stamp or tutorial): [link]
Embarrassing, I know. XD; And it barely has more than half the faves your piece has LOL. So I know exactly how you feel, it's alright. I don't think it's selfish to be frustrated at the fact that our personal best isn't usually our most well-received. It happens all the time. Best to try to enjoy what you get and of course, never stop trying to improve! I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees so many artists stagnate because they get hooked on one method of drawing because it brings them attention.
Your work is boss no matter what, keep doin' what you do.
I love this picture! and the title is perfect also. because before looking at it i said wow this is super classy but yes i love the face and the way her clothes drape over her in the position. Its a great picture. you should draw her more
